【报告人简介】 Dr. Mauro Carraro is currently the associate professor in the Department of Chemical Science in the University of Padova. He graduated in 1998 as Bachelor with cum laude under the supervision of Prof. G. Modena in Padova University. In 2002 he obtained his PhD degree in the same university under the supervision of Prof. G. Scorrano. Since 2014, Prof. Carraro is the member of the advisory board of Italian Chemical Society, the member of the internationalization committee of Padova University， and the member of the advisory board of the PhD school of Science and Engineering of Materials and Nanostructures. Prof. Carraro is the associate editor for “Polymers”, Ed. MDPI, and the referee for national and international institutions (Swiss National Science Foundation, Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) Belgium, Austrian Science Fund. He is also invited as the referee for many international journals, among which: Adv. Mater., Chem. Commun., Org. Lett., ChemSusChem, Chem. Mat., Adv. Synth. Catal., Chem. Eur. J., ChemCatChem., ACS Catalysis, ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, Green Chem., Langmuir, Dalton Trans. The main research interests of Prof. Carraro concern: (i) the development of antioxidant metal complexes and anticancer nanosystems, (ii) the use of polymeric membranes for heterogeneous catalysis and water purification; (iii) the synthesis of nanostructured hybrid materials for applications in the field of catalysis. Prof. Carraro has published ca 87 papers in international peer reviewed journals, with ca. 2500 citations (without self-citations) and an h-index of 34. He is also the co-author of 5 book chapters and one Italian patent.
